One of the new ministires we have developed here in St Osmunds is a ministry to the local private psychiatric hospital. The clergy act as chaplains to any staff or patients who may wish to call upon us for spiritual or pastoral or religious care for whatever reason.
A number of people attend church servcies from time to time and often the clergy receive calls to visit a particular person in a time of need.
Christ lived and worked with many people of many differing kinds of cultures, creeds and illnesses in His day. Our reaching out to this hospital in simply one way of following in Our Masters footsteps.
